Infrared region PD (detector)
If you are looking for mid-infrared region PD, LMS is the place to go!!
The heterostructure PD from LED Microsensor is formed by sequentially epitaxially growing a semiconductor layer on the surface of a crystal substrate. Light is absorbed in the active layer of the PD, and the spectral sensitivity of the PD is determined by the energy gap of the materials that make up the active layer. Currently, we offer PDs with cutoff wavelengths of 2.4, 3.6, and 4.3 µm, and with light receiving areas of 0.3, 0.5, and 1 mm. At LED Microsensor, we manufacture mid-infrared light-emitting diodes (LEDs) in the range of 1.0 to 5.0 µm, photodetectors (PDs), as well as their drivers and evaluation kits. In these wavelength ranges, there are absorption bands for many important gases such as CH₄, H₂O, and CO₂, which can be applied to gas detection and concentration measurement. Our company has a highly specialized team of scientists and engineers with over 20 years of experience in research and development of near and mid-infrared heterostructures, optoelectronics, microelectronics, and more, dedicated to the creation and improvement of unique world-class products.
